BTW Dean, thanks for Kerouac/haiku link. Kerouac was a great writer whose worth is only beginning to be appreciated, and he was a master of English haiku.
But it has to be Dame Fortune. You lose the romantic feel otherwise.
Also, left becomes right becomes left is very nice, but since it doesn't capture the point of things being reversed from the way we're thinking of them, it also doesn't capture what I'm trying to say.
Yours is good, but it's a very different poem. ;-)
