Condoleeza Rice is a Skeeza?

Apparently, the left-leaning black community, as well as much of academia, believes that it is funny to call Condoleeza Rice a bitch-whore-slut ("skeeza").

Not that this is anything new. Any uppity black person who refuses to toe the lefty line is frequently subject to these kinds of high-tech lynchings. They can be done any time, anywhere, by just about anyone--and no one has the least bit of fear of being called to task for it. Indeed, other than a few conservatives, very few people ever bother to say anything at all.

This is another Trent Lott moment if you ask me. The Left has blown many such moments before. Will they blow this one too?

I guess we'll see.

Does anybody believe the black community is harming itself by attacking others with differing viewpoints? It appears to me that by shutting out conservatives with free-market ideas and over relying on government, urban blacks shut out the most powerful catalyst for change: the free market. Adam Smith stated repeatedly throughout “The Wealth of Nations” that capitalism could not succeed without a well-educated populace. The worst American schools always exist in inner cities. In my opinion, Baraka eliminates (Dr. Rice’s) countervailing (conservative) opinions by attacking Condoleeza Rice so underhandedly.

Yes they will blow this one just like they blew it when Belafonte made his unexcusable comments. Had they any honor they would have shunned him but no they didn't.

Well, kevin, part of the problem is that this story won't get much play, just like the Belafonte story didn't.

Dean: of course they'll pass on the chance. Look at what that brain-damaged Assistant Idiot (er, Professor) said, to duck the issue:
"Most of the poem is in the form of questions. [Baraka] is probing these issues and putting them out for examination."
and
"[Baraka's] a major figure in the development of African-American literature," Cataliotti said. "I'm not here to judge the content of his poem. He has the right as an American to express his opinion."

Excuse me while I throw up...

Kevin, you've hit the nail on the head.

Booker T. Washington's comments from nearly a century ago still hold a timely echo:

"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don't want the patient to get well."

Despite Baraka's bashing of Condi Rice (not to mention the intellectual slavery from "Massa" Jesse and "Massa" Al), there is a rising silent black majority determined to make sure the patient does get well, even if it makes the race-baiters sick in the process.

It is quite disturbing to read the thoughtless and cruel comments written about Ms. Rice. It is even more disturbing to read that blacks were encouraging it by laughing and applauding.

I do not understand why some people in the black community insist on downing and insulting one another, especially those who are working to make a difference in their world. I have read several articles and commentaries that have called her an "Uncle Tom" and other names. I think that it is great to see my black brothers and sisters do positive and be positive. To call her a "skeeza" was by far very low. I admire Condi and her efforts with this war. She has a very important position, and it saddens me that she cannot get more support from the black community.

I guess if she were like these racist and half-thinking political leaders in office today, that keep focusing on the Civil Rights Era, and why the "black race is still in the minority" way of thinking, rather than focusing on the issues of today, she would be more liked and respected huh?

I think Rice is toeing the Right line in every sense of the word. She wants to be whiter than the whites!

this is a low class way of expressing one's self,
but it can be justified in the points of view of
black people .... i would imagine ... since i
am not black.

i think it is also a cheap shot to dismiss
criticism of rice because it comes from the
a group that is somehow always complaining,
a kind of blame the victim approach. this
kind of rhetoric is just the right, those in
power, those that have theirs denying that
there is any valid issue with anyone else.

this thinking devolves back to early leqal
system that might makes right, and trial by
ordeal .... jeez, this type of argument is
totally absurd, it is not an argument, it is
a denial to listen and participate in an
argument or logical discussion.

The idea is for the power brokers to simply
twist the obvious truth with impunity. Of course
Rice is working for them as the black face
skeeza to implement policies to keep the masses of soul brothers down and wage war to exploit for more oil and money.

Previous writer nails it:
