Shanti
Hey, check out Shanti's new digs! She's got a new Movable Type-based system. I sure hope she doesn't lose that beautiful header from her old blog though.
By the way, while you're at it, you may want to check out this article on Iraqis who fear the U.S. will not free them from Saddam that Shanti dug up.
I wish Kilmeade of Fox News had thrown this in Janeane Garafolo's face when she was on the other day. I have posted the transcript of *that* interview on my blog.
My heart goes out to these people and rages that idiots like Garafolo think nothing of condemning these souls to the fate they are now in...and then sling around the term 'Nazi' like it was meaningful.
Yeah, the Nazi thing is getting pretty tiresome. People who use that analogy are pinheads. I missed the interview on FoxNews...did Garafolo actually call Bush a Nazi?
I looked for the transcript on your site. I couldn't find it. Did Blogger eat your archives too?
I've been tempted to email Garafalo (as if she would actually read it) to answer her recent question about why the anti-war protesters are treated as anti-American; little things like dismissig the Constitution as being written by "dead, white, male slave-holders", or saying that seeing the American flag is a "slap in the face" to her.
Little things like that tend to turn the other side off, y'know?
It is interesting that you cannot find anybody who fled Iraq criticizing President Bush for his plan to invade that monstrous dictatorship. Does anybody think that just maybe the Hollywoody types are using the Iraq war are actually doing nothing more than playing politics with our national defense?
If terrorists attack, then Democrats, and Martin Sheen and Jeaneane Garofolo can blame President Bush for not guarding America. They will criticize Bush for getting bogged down in Iraq if he does. If Bush wins this war decisively and quickly, the Hollywoody types will blame President Bush for being a bully. This all smells like sour grapes to me.
