Across the finish line! Hooray!

Unfortunately, it also demonstrates that no matter how we try, guarding the coast is almost impossible. Which is why human intelligence so incredibly important.

Guarding the coast against peaceful immigrants is also a terribly misguided policy. Not only does it use up valuable resources we could be using to fight actual criminals, but having illegal immigrants in this country creates black markets for fake identification documents and under-the-table jobs that allow terrorists to live here under the radar. We should let anyone who wants to (who doesn't pose a threat, carry a disease, or have a violent criminal record) live here and attempt to start better lives for themselves.

Defending America’s shores is indeed daunting if not impossible. That is why we preemptively attack countries that sponsor terrorism on their lands instead. This is the best reason I can think of for ridding the world of Saddam Hussein.
