Saddam's Psychology

The Christian Science Monitor has an fine piece on Saddam's psychological state. Excellent reading. I found none of it surprising, but it does explain quite a lot. (Link courtesy of The Rant).

I'm not going to bother reading it. I have more important things to do, like re-arrange my sock drawer.

Who the hell cares why he does what he does?

And frankly, I'm surprised that you are interested in that question.

A complete cardio-hemophiliac.

But I don't feel sorry for him. It's a psychological analysis of why he's behaving as he has so far and how he's likely to behave if X happens vs. if Y happens.

For example, it seems that he completely believes he can ride this storm out, and is likely to go completely berzerk if and when it becomes apparent that he can't.

Given the agonizingly cruel efforts of the French and the Germans to stop an invasion at all costs, I'm no longer surprised that he believes he can go on this way forever, I'm sorry to say.

I do not have to read the link to know that this is a crazy man. Not even all of the medical expertise and medicine could cure this quack. Lets face it, he's psychotic.
