Dean Update (Rosemary)
Dean came through surgery just fine. As expected, he is in agony. He has an incision from the breastbone to the navel. He has already been for a walk - he did not find that to be as pleasant as it sounded...
If all goes well he should be home on Thursday.
Ow! Get well!
Did it come with a zipper or was that an option?
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Get well soon Dean!
Yikes!
You really have to watch them when they get a knife in their hand.
Best wishes, Dean.
I had minor surgery some years ago, a pilonidal cystectomy. (I wish I could get sodium pentothal in six-packs.)
The day after, I was limping down the hospital corridor with a huge hole in my butt. The surgeon came along and asked how I was. I said, through the pain, "OK." He beamed and said (this is an exact quote), "Great! Another satisfied customer!" And then he was gone.
The only answer is, carry a bigger knife.
Glad to hear Dean's surgery went well.
Yeah, when they get you up for that first walk after surgery, it's not much fun. (In my line of work, I hear this particular point from people a lot!) But over the next few days it does get easier.
Dean,
If your surgeon asks if you've come across a gold Rolex --panic!
Please give Dean my best, I wish him a speedy recovery.
I hope Rosemary digs scars! Get well soon.
Get well soon, Dean! I promise to be a better site pest when you get back.
Dean, don't read this!!!

So, Dean, I take it you won't be carving the familty Christmas turkey this year, eh?
Too many flashbacks, I suppose...
Dean,
I have said a prayer for you. I trust your recovery continues to be speedy.
Cheers
Many get well wishes. Make sure Rosemary takes good care of you, Dean; I'm sure she will.
Dean,
Get well soon and have a happy holiday.
