Dean, you need to check with your Canadian friends on these things (my parents live in Saskatchewan). The PC term is "First Nations person." The term "native" carries negative connotations in most of Canada. Go figure.

There's a man who's unafraid of the term "ethnic cleansing." Ironic in light of the atrocities committed against his ancestors, isn't it?
