Hello!!!!! They have to have a guardian's signature if they want to use the work of a minor. When I was under 18 and modeling, my parents had to sign to have my picture released to the public. When I was on TV for cheerleading, my parents had to sign for me to be seen on TV. This organization has subverted legal requirements of parental consent prior to abortions by minors. They can shove their battle up their ass. They're fucking hypocrites.

I don't care where you stand on abortion. One thing is constant. Until a child is 18, that child is the parents responsibility and that child is a minor.

Minors are supposed to get permission for anything they do. Can't get a tattoo, ears pierced, R-rated movies, drivers license, plastic surgery - life saving surgery for that matter...

Abortions should be no different. Abortion is a womans right to choose NOT A CHILD'S.

Definition of woman:An adult female human.

Woman's Right to Choose = An adult female human's Right to Choose.

Definition of a minor:Being under legal age; not yet a legal adult.

These Plannned Parenthood people......What can I say? Wake up and realize the hypocrisy of what you're doing. Maybe they know they're being hypocrites but don't care. Who knows??

Let's also not forget that the founder of Planned Parenthood (Margaret Sanger) advocated the sterilization of minorities and mentally handicapped men and women. Hell, she was fascist before fascism was hip.

Two bits of irony here: I actually agree with Rosemary, and two, NOW elected Sanger to its Hall of Fame. Many members of NOW would not have been born if Sweet Margaret got her way. Planned Parenthood is a business that makes money by performing abortions...it's that simple. In my house, that is called a "bad thing." Just a thought.

Out of fairness, the notion that Sanger advocated the sterilization of minorities turns out not to be entirely true--or to the extent that it's true, it's exaggerated badly.

The following (A Plan for Peace, Margaret Sanger) was published in Birth Control Review (April 1932, pp. 107-108):

d. to apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.

f. to give certain dysgenic groups in our population their choice of segregation or sterilization.

Dean, perhaps it is exaggerated badly, but you have to admit that in 1932, especially in the South, many would have had no trouble identifying minorities in Sanger's plan. It certainly leaves the elite with terrifying powers.

Tim. Where do you live that a Planned Parenthood preforms abortions? I dont know about your state but here in Wisconsin they do not. They do help the person in the situation find help no matter what she decides,but never have I heard of preforming abortions. They ask you if you would like to know your options and if you do, they help you to not only find a safe Dr. for a abortion,but also help you to find good adoption agencies, and programs if you decide to keep your baby and its hard to make ends meat. Also they give you great programs to help the younger girls learn how to take care of thier children properly.Im not here to upset anyone,but I was just amazed that you know of a Planned Parenthood that preforms abortions. And on one last note what about all the good they do . The early cancer screenings for men and woman,physicals, help for rape victims and numberous others. Lets not forget the good things that PP offers to people who are without insurance and need these things done to stay healthy......Denise
