Words Fail Me

Former weapons inspector Scott Ritter is hawking a book on Bush's "phoney" war in Europe, and is being quoted in the European press calling Bush a fascist at home and an imperialist abroad. Bjørn Stærk has the story. (You'll have to scroll down to the second story, Bjørn's direct-links don't go straight to the story.)

Yes I do. I made the blog template a third of the blogosphere's using, of course I have permanent links. ;) (Click on the time.)

Ritter's credibility will be tested by how well his book sells. It's incredible that he denies ever changing his position on anything at all. I cannot for the life of me understand why anybody even puts him on television any more.

If his book flops, then I guess he is out of the political punditry business. Does anybody else cynically believe that maybe that is just why Ritter is now a peacenik, just to sell a book?

Actually, I think Ritter has, quite literally, gone nuts.

No matter how hard I try, the link always goes first to the story about the Norwegian reporter; you have to scroll down to get to the story on Ritter. I updated the link and always get the same thing.

It's still an interesting story though.

The link works for me. Not much magic on my site, so it's odd if it doesn't work. Might be your browser. [*] Anyone else have this problem?

([*] This is what we web developers always say when we can't figure out what's wrong. Translation: "Huh?")

Bjorn, I checked the link and it does go directly to the Ritter story.

I noticed one of your posts where you mentioned some discomfort with how the Danish People's Party has a strong Christian orientation. My question is: if you convert to their point of view, would that make you "Bjorn again?"

Ahhh, I kill myself... Whatta sense o' humor!

(quickly leaving before someone chucks the first brick)

And if I don't convert to their view, it's possible that I'll .. bjørn in hell. Ha ha!

(Funnier if you know that Bjørn sounds more like burn than born.)
