Just For Kicks (Rosemary)

Rosemary is Type Eight: The Challenger

The powerful, aggressive type. Eights are self-confident, strong, and assertive. Protective, resourceful, straight-talking, and decisive, but can also be ego-centric and domineering. Eights feel they must control their environment, especially people, sometimes becoming confrontational and intimidating. Eights typically have problems with their tempers and with allowing themselves to be vulnerable. At their Best: self-mastering, they use their strength to improve others' lives, becoming heroic, magnanimous, and inspiring.

Oddly enough, I show a strong "type 2" subcurrent....

Type 5 here, by a nose, with strong competition from types 1, 3, 4, and 6. The Basic Fear of Type 5 sure hits home, though.

Question 9 cracks me up. "When presented with a new experience, I've usually asked myself if it would be 1) useful to me or 2) enjoyable." The two answers are synonymous in this context!

And what's with Question 23. "I've been too 1) hard nosed and skeptical or 2) soft-hearted and sentimental." Is a person who answers #1 a softie who feels guilty about his hard-nosedness, or a hardliner who is merely repeating what his acquaintances say about him? (And vice versa.) There are a couple like that, where either answer could be interpreted one way or its exact opposite. Of course I suppose this complaint just goes with being a 5.
