Osama Bin Laden has been heard from on Al-Jazeera television.
Not seen. Just heard.
The Pentagon is busy determining if the audio is Osama. Indications are that is him. He was praising all the recent terror attacks. He referred to Bali and the Chechens, so it is recent stuff.
But.
It is easier to fake audio than video, so I will remain skeptical.
Yeah, Bali and the Chechens. Made a couple of great garage-band singles around '67, then Bali got incredibly wasted and thought he could make it as a solo and wound up in Thailand somewhere sewing women's underwear.
Or something like that. I figure that if I can fake audio - almost every current PC has the tools - it can't be too difficult for the unreality-TV buffs at al-Jazeera.
Bali and the Chechens? Didn't they record Woolly Bully>?

The more these 'heard but not seen' tapes of OBL appear, the more convinced I am that he is dead. Think about the massive propaganda boost that it would be for him to appear on tape now, defying the US and the allies.
The obvious inference is that he doesn't because he can't. He's dead.
Do you think Al Qaeda used an audio tape this time because they do not want you to SEE bin Laden?
