In the month of October, we averaged 391 visits per day, our all-time high. To date, we've had a total of 36,612 visits since the beginning of June (I don't have figures for April or May, when we first started). What this tells me is that you folks like what we're doing, like stopping by, and like telling your friends. This is incredibly gratifying for something I started just to entertain and argue with my friends.

You folks are deeply appreciated. You have no idea how happy it makes me that people find this a fun place to come and hang out. Those of you who take the time to leave comments now and then, contributing to our discussions and adding to our content, are as much a part of what makes this online journal a success as anything I ever do. But those of you who just read, and link to us from your own web pages--you people rock too.

I know this message sounds like bragging. Well, it is bragging! But it's also a big "thank you." Seriously. You all make it worth all the time and hassle, you really do. Even those of you who are always wrong. ;-)
