Can I Buy One of These? So I Can Ram It Up Arafat's...

Grrr. Grrr. GRRRROWLLLLLL!!!

Oh yeah, this too.

That sucking sound you hear is the last of my patience with the Palestinian cause whooshing out of my soul. These people need to clean house, and until they do, I'm done caring (much) about their plight.

*UPDATE* -- I had one of the above links wrong earlier, click them both now and you'll get somewhat different (and clearer) results.

Actually, Dean, I think it's funny, in a twisted sort of way.

After all the flag is just a symbol of something else. By itself, it means nothing. The meaning is derived from what people see in it, or gain from it. So it doesn't bother me that some ignorant dinks in another country tape one to the floor and walk on it, any more than (at other times) that those ignorant dinks have burned one in public. Hell, that's legal even over here!

The real meaning is that the people you see in the photograph are so lame, and have so little real power, the worst thing they can do to the United States is walk on our flag. End of story as far as I'm concerned. It's when people start shooting that I get worred. ;)

And for the record, Imperial Japan pulled the same stunt during the Second World War. I can scan you a copy of the photo.

It didn't do them any good either. Heh heh heh...

I'd love to see a scan of that photo. I'd probably post it. :)
