Funniest Line of the Week

I'm cribbing this from John Derbyshire, but so what? It's one of those things that makes you realize that no matter how different things seem today, they probably aren't as different as you think.

About 30 years ago, author Alan Coren complained to his agent that none of his books sold very well. His agent told him that there were only three categories of book that consistently sold well: books about golf, books about cats, and books about Nazis.

Coren titled his next book Golfing for Cats and put a big swastika on the cover.

No lie. You can find it listed in online used bookstores. The only wonder to me is that it's out of print.

BwaHaHAhaahahaha...

Here it is!

Can't find a pic of the cover but I understand it showed a cat putting on a golf green with a swastika flag flying above the hole.

If anyone finds a GIF or JPEG of the cover, please forward it to me ASAP.

Yours truly ==> big cat fan (less on golf, and, er, none for da Nazzies.)
