Lawyers’ introduction to blogging

Plugola time!

General practice and other non-bloggy lawyers seeking an introduction to legal aspects of blogging can now get one, along with continuing legal education credit in California, Illinois and New York, from Lawline, the web-based Continuing Legal Education (”CLE”) provider. The online introductory presentation, which in fact is called “Legal Aspects of Blogging,” is given by the me, your contributing Dean’s World guy Ron Coleman, who is also the Media Blogger Association’s general counsel.

It costs $45 to watch this, which is something only lawyers would pay in order to get CLE credit.  Still, humans may also view the program but the price is the same.

I get no direct financial benefit from this program, but naturally it doesn’t look all that good for Dean’s World if nobody forks down the $45, does it?  I am posting this here, really, to protect Dean.  And his family.  And the entire financial system, plus of course the family farm.

If your lawyer needs the CLE credit anyway, or does marvelous, marvelous work, just spectacular, but has no idea what you’re talking about when you start launching into your “blogging issues,” point that lawyer to this program.
